soundcore Liberty 5 Pro
Our verdict: A call-focused earbud shortlist for shoppers who want compact in-ear headphones, ANC and multiple ways to control playback.
Trade-off: Soundcore quotes up to 6.5 hours with ANC on from the earbuds themselves; 28 hours includes charging-case use.
soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Review
Consider Liberty 5 Pro if everyday calls and an in-ear fit matter more than the hook design of workout earbuds.
Specifications and features
| Drivers | 9.2mm wool-paper diaphragm drivers |
|---|---|
| Noise control | Adaptive ANC 4.0 |
| Published ANC runtime | Up to 6.5 hours alone; 28 hours with case |
| Protection and connections | IP55, Bluetooth 6.1 and multipoint |
Our shortlist is based on the call-oriented feature set, not on a promise of measured speech quality. Your room, voice, ear-tip seal and calling software all affect whether an earbud works well for you. Try the sort of call you actually make during the return period. We did not conduct a call or listening trial.
Pros and cons
Reasons to consider it
- Multipoint supports a routine involving more than one device.
- Published features include personalized EQ and offline voice commands.
Reasons to pause
- Case-inclusive runtime does not mean an uninterrupted working day.
- Microphone marketing cannot predict performance in every calling app.
Before choosing a listing
Check that the listing says Liberty 5 Pro rather than Liberty 5 or an older Pro model. Compare with Sport X20 when retaining the earbud during exercise matters more than compactness.
